The Pillars of the Memphis Lady Bobcats Exposure Program.

If you have been following Memphis Basketall and if you can remember a few faces you are looking at the first highly recruited travel team in the Memphis Lady Bobcats with Players that ad attributes like the characters of the new released Movie Xmen the First Class.  These young ladies had their own special gifts on the Floor and now they are still displaying their talent on the collegiate level today. Meet the First Class of the Bobcats National Travel Team.  (photoed from left to right at top) Keturah Martin, Candis Clear, Dejah Foster, Whitney Houston, Portia Tucker.  (photoed at bottom from left to right) Latosha Laws, Crystal Riley, Lindsey Root, Jasmine "Tootie" Robinson, Jasmine Rayner and not pictured Megan Davis and Shanera "Scooter" Macklin.  They were called the Memphis Bobcats Gold Team.  Now  they are known as the G7Memphis Bobcats Platinum.  These young ladies have set the way for many players in the past,  present and in the years to come.  Proves that the Bobcats organization produce some of the top athletes in the Midsouth.  College coaches from all over the country started following the Bobcats program when these young ladies hit the circuit and have followed the program since and now the following has increased tremendously.  The Bobcats Gold was the first fully sponsored travel team from Memphis since the Memphis Showboats with Jessica Jackson and Latoya Bullard.  The Bocats  were sponsored by adidas as well.

This Summer the Memphis Bobcats will be attending 3 of the most evaluated events in the country.  The Marques Jackson Big State Flava Jam, Battle in the Boro and The USJN National Championships.  All of these events will be evaluated by ESPN Hoopgurlz and BlueStar Basketball, which both are 2 of the top scouting services in the country.   The Bobcats program director is still increasing the coaching staff  and building program up to new heights with teams in Memphis, Mississippi and now in the Texas Area.  Soon the G7 movement will be bigger than ever.
